    Our new family member 😉

Jarrett Ray was born May 10th(Mother's Day) @ 4:51 pm by Caesarean section. He weighed 5 pounds 14 oz and was 19" long. He's actual due date is for May 31st, but my little baby didn't want to wait to join this world. He was breached and trying to come anyway. We were camping but luckily only a half hour from our hospital. Labor went very quickly(2 hours). We were racing to the hospital in a heavy rain storm.

He is the cutest little man in the world, but I'm biased of course. The dogs are both doing great with him. The first few nights after being home when Emma would hear him cry in the monitor she would go running for his room. It's just so cute. I really hope both dogs continue to accept him as he grows up and becomes more mobile.
    9 days old here.

Emma is in this pic but hard to see because she blends in with the carpet.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

    Congratulations!

We had both Scully and Mulder before having our human girls, and they loved the babies from the beginning, and even more so as they got older - around the time they get more mobile is around the time they get good at throwing food off of the high chair, LOL.

    Enjoy!
