At his age I would be feeding 1 cup, 3 times a day.
Little beau is 11 weeks at the moment and I feed him 1 cup of purina pro plan puppy blend in the morning and 1 cup at night with treats in between. When I got him he was pretty thin in the ribs but ive noticed he is steadily putting on weight. Now instead of all his ribs showing its just a few towards the back or when he stretches while is healthy.
Should I be feeding him more than twice? I read 3-4 times per day with smaller sized portions to prevent stomach issues, but he has solid poops and goes within 5-10 minutes immediately after eating and usually one around mid-day.
At his age I would be feeding 1 cup, 3 times a day.

Ozzy - 10/2002 - 06/2011 - Rest well my sweet boy. You are forever remembered, forever missed, forever in my heart.
I fed three time a day until Sophie was 16 weeks, and Bruce until he was 18 weeks. Not sure what you are feeding, but I basically went with the amount recommended on the bag.
My pups were eating about 3 cups of ProPlan puppy formula at that age, divided over 3 meals with additional training treats. My older dog got up to about 4 cups of food per day by maybe 4 months of age until he stopped growing and I cut back, my little girl stayed at about 3 cups per day. You could probably go up on the amount you're feeding, adding a midday meal of more food, not dividing what he's already getting into smaller meals. If his stools start getting loose, that could be a sign he's getting a little more food than he needs.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Puppies are hard, they grow in spurts. I would feed him a little extra until the ribs stop showing and then when he starts looking a little plump decrease the amount. My pup only gets 2 Cups over 2 meals with lots of treats (he is 18 weeks). I do keep my dogs lean except for the old girl who I blame my husband for sneaking her too many cookies.
Every puppy is different. With Ruby (now 4.5 mos), I was still feeding her 4x a day until just recently because she was already up to 4C per day at ~12 wks! Other litters have topped out at 3C per day. It really depends on activity levels and the genetics of the litter but I've found males in general need up to 5C once they hit 4-5 mos. Just go by the ribs, and make sure there is a layer of extra fat there to draw on in case he gets sick for a few days because you will need it if so. An old rule of thumb was 1C/ month of age on average.

You can do 2x a day, but 2 cups a day isn't enough.
