Smartest Sporting Dogs in the World

The owner of Belle's sire posted this at Upland Journal.

It so reminded me of Irishwhister and Team TRAD.

"Good Stuff here from some amazing dogs.

Watch the narrow water land water work mid video and appreciate the temptation to cheat the water and the canines incredible ability to process the variables.

Smartest Sporting Dogs in the World."

Awesome. Just awesome. And that's just the WATER. The dogs are pretty special too.

Seriously, though... there's a reason for the vast preponderance of labs running the highest levels of the game. Yes there are Goldens who can do the work. And the rare Chessie. But the gene pool is just so huge for the labs.

I think the advent of the internet has also improved breeding since the abilities of certain studs (and a few bitches) become better known. That and improvements in frozen semen and artificial insemination. PLUS the ever expanding knowledge of dog behavior and cognition.
