At least she's a small dog (small bladder).
I've told myself over the years that dog pee (just like dog saliva) is good for your skin.
We live in a townhouse neighborhood with a communal backyard area. I let the girls out back in the morning, Daisy off-leash because she is trustworthy and will go right there and come back in, Lily on-leash because she's naughty and won't poo unless she's four houses down.
Going through our usually routine this morning when all of a sudden, I hear bark bark bark and see a man running. Before I even see the dog, I pick up Lily out of pure instinct since she's so teeny tiny. As luck would have it, she was mid-stream so I got a lovely pee bath this morning.
Turns out the barker was her slightly bigger twin, another dapple dachshund that lives a few doors down. I always see the owners walking two dachshunds on leash, so this guy must have just slipped out. Had I seen him sooner, I probably would have left Lily on the ground and saved myself the pee shower. From experience dachshunds are all bark but total weenies (pun intended). I'm just glad I had already changed out of my PJs and bathrobe! LOL
That was my morning!

I had to take a shower and everything. Thought I was fine with just a change of clothes but then noticed the dog sniffing me. I was tempted to spray myself with Nature's Miracle but opted for a shower instead.

What, another shower after getting a pee shower?
