Change In Tuesday Night Dinner Plans

Normally DD and the grans come to the house for dinner Tuesday nights. Tonight we picked up Boston Market and headed to her house. She had some old lilac bushes/almost trees that needed to come down so after dinner DH with the chain saw got them down and cut up. The two little grans moved them to the fence and DD lifted them over and piled them up to be picked up. I did a lot of hand trimming and raking. Older GD tended little GS.

We had a blast working together and the yard looks so much better. It's hard for GD to keep up with the yard, working and the kids. Older GS is coming over tomorrow to mow and edge.

As we were finishing up, older GD got out the sprinkler and the kids were having fun. Their laughs are so infectious just makes everyone smile.

I'm pooped and so is DH but it was a great evening with family.

Not sure why all but one, and of course it is on the other side of town from me, closed.
