    Teeth extraction tomorrow

I know it's routine, but I will still take some good thoughts. A month or so ago a trip to the vet for a broken tooth started an early kidney failure diagnosis drama and coincided with big personal problems, so I need my boy back happy and healthy. I'm sure it will go fine, but I still worry.

And extra good thoughts that he doesn't bite me when he learns he can't have breakfast tomorrow.

    Thanks gang!!

Lots of good thoughts for a successful dental!

What happened with his kidney failure diagnosis, is he feeling better?

Thanks everyone! Leaving in a bit, just dealing with the drama over no breakfast this morning.

He will have follow up blood work on his kidneys in about a month. I haven't noticed anything different about how he's feeling, so hopefully we caught the kidney issues early enough so that it can be well-managed through diet and supplements.

Okay, thanks for the good mojo. He's home. Two teeth pulled and a skin tag removed from his chin. He's pretty out of it, but they said he did fine.

They also sent out blood and urine to check his kidneys again today, so we'll see if there's any change from April.

Definitely sending healing mojo. With the extensive work Archie has had done, I was so surprised how well he did. We did feed him canned food for a week but that was because of the skin flaps being done. You might want to toss his kibble in the blender to break it up and add warm water. I've done that with each of ours that has had dental surgery and it seemed to help.

    Please keep us updated.

Glad it went well. Do you have the blood work results? How are his kidney levels from last time?
