I've been pretty busy lately- getting a teaching job in another state is very tiring! However, I officially have a job here in Ohio! I wanted to move so I could see my nieces and nephews more than once or twice a year. I'm looking forward to being there for birthday parties and soccer games, etc.
I haven't moved all of my furniture yet - most of that is in a storage unit in Iowa until I can find a place to live here. I would love to buy a house but I think for now it's wise to rent and get acclimated.
So Daisy and I are staying and my brother's house. His family is at the beach right now so it's just me, Daisy, and Bruno- my brother's chocolate lab. I brought daisy's toy bin this time and Bruno is in heaven bc he doesn't have one of those. I did take all of the stuffed toys and put them on a high shelf since they don't last long with Bruno.
Anyway, I'm excited for this new adventure!

Welcome to Ohio! If you like to hike, John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs and Hocking Hills are both great places to go with your dogs.

Thanks for the tips Laura! I've been looking up dog parks because I already miss our small town dog park with the swimming pond. Yes, I agree I think Mocha and Daisy would have a blast! Maybe Bruno too!

Sounds very exciting for you! That's a really good idea to rent first. That way you find all the good doggy places and whatnot, then pick the neighborhood you like. Nothing beats being there for family.
