I saw a notice in my e-mail that my husband had rented a Redbox movie.
Me: What did you rent?
DH: That one with Melissa McCarthy.
Me: Which one?
DH: You know.
Me: Are you talking about Spy?
DH: Yes. Spy?
Me: I don't think that's out yet.
DH: Yes, it is. Spy.
Long pause.
DH: Oh no. Wait. Hot Pursuit.
Me: With Sofia Vergara.
DH: Really?
Me: That's my line. Seriously. Really?
DH: I got another one.
Me: Oh my God. Any idea of what that one was?
DH: The one with Ben Kingsley and Gillian Anderson.
Me: I have no idea of what you're talking about.
DH: Robo World.
I looked it up.
Me: Robot Overlords?
DH: I guess.
Me: You know that's a kid's movie, right?
DH: I don't know. The second one was 50 cents.
Me: Actually, it was 50 cents off. You know what? Never mind.
We're about to start "watching" movies. He'll be asleep in ten minutes.
