    My 3:33 wake up call

Molly statrted to bark. I woke up to what sounded like soda cans being crumpled. Opened the blind and low and behold a bear was jumping the fence. Ok got to be honest I am wide awake now. I am a bit nervous that he is still in the back yard.

Maybe he seen the video of the mama bear and her five cubs swimming and playing in the backyard of the NJ family and thought he would see if you had a pool too

Not the way you want to be woken up. Be careful.

Take care. You're housesitting, right? The bear might be used to the area. They can get really comfortable.

Yeah I am house sitting. But to be honest the bears have been very active getting as close as 25 feet away from the tent on two occations. I heard today that there is a food failure problem up her so the bears are being way more aggresive about the trash. Kinda has me a bit worried about going back out into the woods. The last campsite a car was broken into by a bear less than 30 feet away from me.

That is scary, I don't know that I could sleep if I knew bears could be that close. Please be careful and stay safe!

Yikes. I had a bear go through my campsite during the night years ago. I have never forgotten that experience.
I'm glad you weren't in your tent.
