Even now when I'm not all that nervous in the ring, I LOOK like I'm nervous. Other people, including judges tell me to relax, even though I just don't feel anxious like I used to. My trainer said that when she first started rally, and was battling anxiety in the ring, she found it helpful to collect course maps, and just sit somewhere quiet, and imagine herself doing the whole course perfectly with her dog. She said she would do that a ton before trials, and even when she didn't feel as at ease, she would look at the course map after she walked the course, and imagine everything going perfectly, and she moved with much more confidence. So, basically, I think the videos will help me to know what to even imagine myself looking like! I probably sound half nutty, but I just think it will help me!
