    Horrible

A few weeks ago I helped out the retscue by taking a litter of 5 shepherd mix puppies while she out of town helping with a transport. When she got back she took all but 2 which I was fostering BC a friend of mine was interested and she wanted to meet them.

My friend picked the one she wanted so I gave back the other puppy since my pet sitting schedule was crazy and I was holding on to the other puppy til they came back from vacation.

The rescue person called me a few days ago BC the puppy I had was attacked by another rescue dog and now has a fractured jaw. Now I know it was an açident but still dog common sense would tell you not to leave a puppy unsupervised with an adult dog especially one that you don't really know. its not like it was one of her personal dogs.

Poor thing is at my house now and needs to wear a muzzle except when she eats to let the jaw heal. She's eating wet food with water but if you take the muzzle off her little mouth hangs open.

On a happy note I just got 4 5 day old kittens

Bless you for fostering. DW and I know we would be foster failures and would wind up with a house full of lifetime fosters!

There is nothing as good as a huge heart and yours is 'ginormous' ( more than huge). You obviously have been blessed by God to be able to take care of all these babies.

I would call you an extraordinary soul.

Sending MOJO for the pup to heal quickly.

Oh that poor baby. I hope she heals quickly and finds her loving forever home soon. Is she ok around other dogs now after her attack?

My very first rescue was a GSD/Beagle mix. My little Angelina "Annie" was everything to me she was with me for 15 yrs. Annie was a very smart little girl and would also swim to fetch a stick or just swim around just to enjoy the water.

She's healing and has an adopter adoption was pending when this happened. She decided she still wants her which is good . She seems fine with other dogs tho I've only seen her with mine. But she's not afraid still wanted to play but I had to limit her.
