I was talking to my DH about the puppies and we were agreeing on how cute it is that they automatically go to their assigned spots at mealtimes to wait for us to put down their bowls. Come to find out, he uses different spots than I do, and they automatically go to their “mom” spot if I am doing the feeding and their “dad” spot if he is, LOL.

I send mine to their "place" before they are fed. Every now and then I will mix up their bowls and put them in the wrong spot. Even when I do this, the dogs go to the right bowl!
Talk about smart! Then again, it does involve food they are going to learn whatever works, do it.
