Aye Mates,
Me gunning mate Henry, retriever gundog TRAD, and meself spent the day gunning in the crisp fall air of the New England uplands for a "go round" on pheasants. TEAM TRAD - 4 - TEAM PHEZ -0. Tomorrow marks the 2nd anniversary of TRAD coming into me family after the sudden and premature passing of me retriever AKC WILDROSE CAYDEN SH. TRAD has been an amazing dog in regard to helping me heal from the passing of CAYDEN and standing loyaly by me whilst I endured treatment for cancer earlier this year.. I am truly blessed to have TRAD to share great times afield with.
PHEZ-GO-ROUND

A week from today, three of me best friends and meself will leave for Iowa for a week of hunting wild birds (pheasant and quail) and TRAD will be along with us. All 3 of these guys along with TRAD and many of the folks on Labrador Chat Board were incredibly supportive to me throughout the last year. Me hearfelt thanks go out to ye all.

wonderful day out with a wonderful companion! i'm sure your Iowa trip will be a great time spent with good friends.
Every day we have is definitely a day to be thankful for. time moves too quickly, and we don't know what will happen tomorrow.
I think both of you are lucky to have each other. Some times, things are just meant to be.
