Week 23 - Land Shark Turns Into Bear

So, the small, brown land shark that we brought home on July 3rd is now a giant brown bear.

We just got back from the vet and Murph is a whopping 55lbs

Seems like just yesterday this little pup was 27lbs and could be carried anywhere he wanted. Now, whenever I try to pick him up, he just falls over and turns into a boulder. No matter how big this little shark gets, he will always want to cuddle...even if it means tipping the chair over in the process (which almost happened the other night).

(He also got his first rabies shot today, so he's sleepy and laying around. But then again, he just stole the remote and ran away. Never a dull moment with this one)

Thank you! It's amazing that he's grown that much in just 3 (almost 4) months.

We've always said that he's way too cute to yell at. If you start yelling at him, he gives you the "I'm innocent please don't yell at me" look

He still has his "little devil" moments, but his biting is slowing down. Now, it's more play biting than anything. Can't wait until he outgrows that one!

We're going out of town for a night next week and the facility that he'll be staying at is awesome. Plenty of playgroups, indoor track, etc. I'm kind of sad to leave him for a night actually. I need a break from him, but he's grown on me a lot since July!

I already find myself missing the days when I could pick him up, put him on my shoulder, and walk him outside to his potty area. He'd always have a loud alligator yawn and would fall asleep halfway there.

And that was only 3 months ago.

I'm trying to enjoy his ability to fit in the chair while he still can LOL the vet thinks that he'll be about 85-90lbs...yikes
