    Weirdest lump spot.

Argos has a lump on, get this, his toe. It's fine but good grief. Who feels a dog's toes for lumps? Really.

Could it be some sort of foreign body, splinter, grass?

What do you mean "it's fine"?...did a vet see it?

That's a suspicious spot for lumps.

Oh yeah. We went in for a laser treatment today and she checked it out. Argos is a very lumpy dog so we always have one aspiration for each new lump then just kind of note the spot. I really thought it was a knuckle.

Thanks indybindy. I had no idea that it was a thing. The vet said she sees it a lot but she's a vet so I kind of take that sort of talk with a grain of salt.

I had never seen a lump on a toe or even thought about one showing up there on a dog or cat. It happen to both Tootsie and Sarah. Tootsie had a round of antibiotics but that didn't help so she had to have it removed before it got to big for a suture to be able to close the wound. Thankfully with Sarah the cyst/lump went away with one round of antibiotics. I have always checked my kids feet when I do their nails just a little closer now that I know a lump can show up there.

I hope Argos' lump goes away soon and doesn't cause him any problems.

Chloe lost a toe due to a suspected cancer that turned out to be an aggressive infection that was eating away the bone. She had a lump.

It's ok, my boy has a small sebaceous cyst under his tail. My vet knows I'm highly OCD, but still looked at me sideways and said "How did you even notice this?"
