    It Never Fails.....

Yesterday is a perfect example. My other half was away for work and I put in an hour extra. I come home and put the dogs in the backyard and close the door while I put my dog walking clothes on and get the leashes and treats ready. So they are out there for 10 minutes at least.

Like clockwork Georgia does her business right when we get about 6 houses away and I have to go the rest of the walk carrying the poop bag. You were just outside in the backyard for 10 minutes why didn't you go then? I think she likes to watch us carry around that stinky bag.
    Thanks Everyone!!

The same scenario here for Sadie. OYE!! She has done it since she was a puppy. I have learned to walk towards the park which is a block away. They have doggie receptacles there. I am wondering if this is an excitement thing.

I then debate in my head, should I take this stinky bag of poo home and drop it off so I don't have to carry it for the entire walk? But then I would have to deal with the hassle of going back into the house to get another bag, because if I did not have a bag it would definitely be the .05% day when she went twice on one walk... Dogs.

Realize you're not taking the dogs for a walk, you're taking the bag of poop for a walk. That's the way it is.

Been there many times. Sometimes, if I'm going to be passing that spot on the way back, I'll bag it up, tie the bag off and leave it by the curb while we walk. Then I grab it up on the way back to our garbage can. Ideally, there will be a little planting that I can kind of hide it beside so it's not too conspicuous. And I use little black bags, not pink or blue or big grocery store bags. Yes, I have forgotten to retrieve them a couple of times, but they're always there waiting for me a day or so later. My husband is waiting in eager anticipation for the day someone calls me out on it. I hate trying to manage 2 dogs and a couple of swinging bags of dog doo!
