    This is hysterically true

I have had GSDs. I've had retrievers. I've had to feed GSDs and retrievers. The principle problem is that the GSDs end up defending their food. Which is way cool. Because GSDs rather enjoy defending their property.

But this video a classic illustration of dinner time diversity between the breeds.

Have found this to be so true. Mardi inhales her meals while Archie savors his. Mardi tries to push in on Archie which I do not allow. Archie can also be pickier. Case in point, I mix green beans and a fruit to help fill tummies. Archie is picky which fruits he likes and lets Mardi, after he's finished, to clean up.

So funny! I'd put that golden up against my Argos any time though. He would just slurp in one bite.

So funny! While Chase is no slouch in the speed department, as he gets older, compared to Lark, he is pacing himself more like the GSD. Lark could take that Golden any day!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

There's one point where the expression on the face of the GSD is "oh my goodness...how rude...how does he even taste his food". He obviously thinks the GR has no manners at all.

Ah... but in the slow motion, what I thought I saw was a moment when the golden had finished his spaghetti and glances over (twice) toward the GSD's bowl, with the thought that... maybe, maybe I could get my face in his food... but then thinks better of it.

OMG that is hilarious! Retrievers definitely have their taste buds located in their stomach.
