    Another children's size question.

I'm buying web busters on children's coats for the shelter. There are availability issues on certain colors. What age generally does a 10/12 boys size accommodate? And older girls are listed as M, L and XL. Is that 10/12, 14/16 and 18/20?

I know. It's a weird question. It's a really good deal from a high end department store. Maybe I should just get whatever.

I'd say just buy and let the shelter folks sort it out. I've got grandkids ranging from 18 months to 16 years, and figuring out all the sizing is like calculus. Ridiculously hard!

Oh, thank you. I'll just ballpark it. I have to say though that it used to go by age. What happened there?

Sizes are so all over the place nowadays. I get a list from DD and they in no way equate to the kids ages.
