Breeders - what's on your xmas list??

I need help from those in the know! My breeder has become a friend and I'm infinitely grateful for her help and guidance. I'd like to get her a nice xmas gift.

Anything a a lab breeder would love to have? She doesn't wear jewelry but might like a lab bag or home decor item. Thoughts? My budget isn't huge but I'd like together her something she'd appreciate.

    Thanks!

a gift card to Petsmart or chewy.com is always great....a for a big bag of food.

They don't even like earrings? I have a friend who makes jewelry and has a lot of lab earrings, very subtle...

I gave my breeder a big bag of Pro Plan for Luna's birthday since she kept 2 of her littermates.

Oh gosh........ There are so many cool things out there! Cute leash hook racks, Labrador welcome signs, windsocks (if you run into a good manufacturer, let me know as I need to order a new one), porch flags, planters, home accessories (I've seen cute paper towel holders and such), the metal Labrador crossing signs, maybe a duck call if your breeder is into hunt tests, a pretty leash, refrigerator magnets, picture frames, key holder or led / reflective collar or leash, a cute calendar, a pretty coffee cup (stuffed w/ chocolate kisses would make brownie points to most of us, lol), a plate of cookies or fudge, or a bottle of wine.... the list is endless!!!! Cabellas or other sporting goods stores often have lots of cute gift items. Have fun! Anne

PS, possibly forgot the more obvious too--- baby puppy toys!!!

No, I'm not a breeder, but windycanyon mentioned wine so....I've seen wine glasses with dog footprints etched onto them. Two glasses and a bottle of LAB red wine? LAB is a pretty inexpensive Portuguese wine. Let's just say, I've had to sample a few bottles to make sure they were OK, and they were. The label has the silhouette of a lab on it.

Since coming back from the UK in 1989, I've sent my friends a Christmas package every year. Normally 3 or 4 bags of the Hershey Christmas Chocolates, and a couple other items. Their grandkids love the chocolates. Books on nature, birds, local history have always been a hit. The also love pictures of the dogs, and our kids, but with the internet and being able to instantly send them, it's harder to do that. I've tried to stay away from Labrador stuff, as they have tons of that stuff. I did find something really unique when we were in Colorado this past summer. A little art studio in Fairplay had these Labrador wood puzzles, and I picked a black one up for me, and a yellow for them. They LOVED it! It was so different and unique.

Not a breeder either but homing older dogs from breeders, sometimes seeing them in tears in the rear view mirror, I know how much it took for them to open their heart and bless me with them.

For each I have made a small scrapbook full of pictures and stories of what is going on. I left empty pages at the end and periodically, not necessarily during the holidays, for them to add to the album items I send.

Thanks everyone! She's not a jewelry wearer or drinker, and just brought in a huge shipment of food, but I like the idea of a windsock, or sign, or some other lab "decor". Harder to get my hands on the stuff here in Canada though. If you have any links to share I'd be grateful. She loves coffee too so maybe a gift card?
