    Calming Dog at the Airport

I'm in the Sacramento airport today past the security line. I see a big white fluffy dog and had on a vest that said "Pet Me". So I asked the owner and she said "Yes. His name in Logan. We're here to help people not be so anxious while traveling". Cool!

I'm a seasoned traveler. I travel with work and I really don't get anxious or nervous, but after petting this dog, I really felt better. I found myself smiling and watching this lady with her dog. It was such a nice thing.

I think Mocha and I could do this. Just hang out at the airport and make people feel better.

What a great idea. The terms 'therapy dog' takes on a new definition.

Maybe Logan was a "plain clothes" undercover bomb detection dog. Just kidding. That is a wonderful thing to do with a dog.

Do you want to know WHY you felt better? The lady and her dog was doing something nice for people and that was pleasing to you(and others). Bless her and her dog.

If the people of the world would just smile and pet animals, humanity would take a huge step forward.

That's great! I wouldn't do it until Hoku gets licensed, but then, I think it would be a great idea. I don't hate flying, but here was a time—quite some time ago—when I really did. I'd become horribly stressed out. I think a little dog time would definitely have helped!

Lovely idea, mind you it would take a lot more than that to get me anywhere near a plane!

I hope it helps some anxious travelers but at the very least it could make for some smiles.

And here I was thinking how I would calm my dog down at the airport. Great idea nice way to get through security.
