    If Dogs Could Talk...

Okay, I'm sure everyone has seen the "if dogs could text" posts. But while this is similar, it's important work.

A woman, Melody Jackson, and her team have developed means for service dogs, military dogs, police dogs to communicate.

This is the story, but you absolutely need to watch the video with it. I've posted both, if you only click one, choose the video (about 18 minutes). It is absolutely amazing what they've done.

That was remarkable! I can just imagine where on the soft -> hard-charger spectrum Ram Jet Rocket Dog would fall. If they need a dog to crash test their equipment... they PM on this forum

Ha! I actually thought of her when she was talking about the search and rescue dogs going through the water instead of around. And that the vest with the different touch/pressure points for commands would be perfect for a far ranging field dog.

Wow. The adaptation to use the bite graph to test temperament is just as interesting as the communication possibilities. Thank you for posting this.
