    Trick Challenge #3?

Lost count of the challenge number but I think it was 3.

For those new or don't remember, the trick challenge is something you and your pup/dog do together. Each fortnight, I will assign a new trick so you and your pup get two weeks to learn it. You are encouraged to post photos or videos of your dog/pup doing the trick or how far you've progressed and if you need help, feel free to ask in the thread. I'll be happy to help and if I can't, I'm sure other members can.

Anyway, your challenge is: BALANCE TREAT ON NOSE.

    Have fun and good luck!

    Thanks for restarting the challenges.

Archie did get the spin but only in one direction, LOL.

This one is going to be hard. I suppose because he had to dive in to get a meal or be left out, he does not want to wait for meals. He now sits and waits but it's really hard for him once the bowl hits the floor. He is getter much better with treats. We're going to give it a solid try.

This is a tough one - first to do it and next to actually get a picture of it! Needs some coordination, but we'll give it a go.

Crossed eyed lab photos to follow!

Quick report! this is going to be hard.
My approach so far has been C&T for keeping head still, then keeping it still has I'm moving to place a penny on her nose. then hold it there, then we'll do it with a treat once she nose she trying to balance it on her nose.

I've been trying this with Gauge but its been a challange because he will try and eat the treat. Emma Dad I'm going to try that will the penny since its not food then add the treat.

Mocha IS a star! I've tried this before with Lark, Chase doesn't want any part of it. When released, Lark lets the treat drop on the floor and does a safety inspection before eating it. Too bad she doesn't safety inspect gross things she eats outside!

Polly keeps tossing her head up to eat the treat. . .sigh.

I'd caution against using a penny in case they swallowed it - Polly would have as a pup!

Mocha has clearly got with the programme!! Well Done!!
