    House arrest's finally ended :-)

It's our pleasure to announce that the incredible, next-to-impossible twenty-eight-day house arrest is finally over and so is our first heat cycle. No more boring walks on the leash; we're back to playing fetch, roaming freely, sniffing anywhere and most importantly our purity has remained untouched, no matter how irresistible all the boys in the neighborhood found us and I must admit that I really felt sorry for some of them M&M

Thank you, we certainly will Actually, our morning walk was awesome - more than an hour and a half, no leash, (almost) no limitations - felt great, both of us.

Wahoo! Way to go Mel, I'm sure she LOVED it! I didn't even realize that she and Luna have the exact same birthday, though of course it is impossible for them to be brother and sister. How funny! :-)

That's a long 28 days, for sure. I'm not surprised all those frisky boys found sweet Mel nearly irresistible! Are dogs as routinely neutered there as they are in the US? At least we knew that most of the fellows we might encounter would not be fathering puppies anyway.

Wishing Mel an early Happy Birthday! We look forward to hearing how she celebrates!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Congratulations. Both of you must have been getting restless and ready to bust out for a good long walk!
