Happy Holidays to all from Dodger

    Hi all,

Hope you are all having wonderful holidays. I personally planned to come on here Christmas day and post this however I am babysitting my niece-dog as of the 24th and she is a whirlwind.

Now I know why I like big dogs. She is feisty, possessive and a total princess. They have trained her to do her business on a training mat. They wipe her with wipes after her business and after she eats. It's a nightmare.

She taunts Dodger continuously, thank god he is so good natured.

She is a Bichon/Maltese mix(I think that's what they said) and is almost 1. She is cute and weighs in at just 9 lbs but I can't wait to give her back.

Anyways, Dodger and I wish you all a wonderful holiday season.

Oh almost forgot, after having a green Christmas, we received a whopping 50 or so cm's of snow yesterday, so of course I slipped and cracked my head open on our brick wall on our front gallery. Fun times. Luckily they were able to glue my head instead of stitches.

OUCH! That's a horrible accident. Nothing like getting your head glued back together.

Wishing you the best of holiday seasons too. And, be careful out there.

Ouch I am so glad you are on the mend, very scary. Yes little dogs have the energy of a herd and doesn't help that they think they are the size of a great dane On the other side they are really snuggle bugs and loveable.

Happy New Year to you, Dodger, and the rest of your crew (feathered and human, as well)!!! That sounds like a nasty head bump, hope it heals up with no bad aftereffects!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
