Nominate your lab!

New presidential race cycle, new game! Would your lab make a better president than half the oddballs running? Or do you think your lab would be better as Vice President? Maybe Secretary of the Interior (although that may be a competitive position in the United States of Labrador)? Tell me what federal position your lab should have and why.

I'll start: Kimber would be an excellent Chief of Staff. She's got an excellent internal clock, helpful for keeping a president on schedule; she's very goal oriented; and while she's quite friendly, she's not shy about correcting someone who is out of line! I could see her being the Rahm Emanuel to Labrador President.

Pipe would like to be in charge of the kitchens, or greeting....so maybe the butler or butleress as perhaps the term maybe?

I would like to nominate my black lab DEXTER to run secret service. He is black so of course can sneak around in the dark....and he is very sneaky. He is trained in search and rescue, and drug detection so that wouldn't be a problem. He also has some protection training. He can be very sneaky and persuasive too!

First, thank you for starting a FUN post.

I think Gabe would be good as Secretary of Defense. He is very good at giving signals, using his predatory nature to go after the bad guys and thinks before he acts. He has a wide field of vision and super hearing. When he has made up his mind to do something, there is no stopping him.

Plus, he is stealthy and aggressive when need be.

Dan wants to be one of the Secret Service folks...and he'd have to be the only dog on the team for any one mission (he doesn't like other dogs in his face).

Sunnie just wants to be First Dog...as long as she doesn't have to put on a show of caring about anything other than looking pretty (per DNA, she is 1/4-Poodle...it figures).

Max would fit right in, in Washington DC's political ranks. He is a persistent negotiator for treats. He likes the perks of being the new boy in town and uses his persuasion skills ( A head tilt, paw shake, hug, bark) to get what he wants and for others to see it his way. He doesn't like golf, but would need Saturdays off for college football, as he is a huge Clemson fan and watches football all day on Saturdays. He can solve the energy crisis single handedly, if a treadmill was attached to a generator or oil drill. He is against new taxes, especially on dog treats..

I think Thor would make a great Secretary of State. He has the ability to be best friends with every person and dog he meets. I bet that he could create world peace if they just let him do all the negotiations!
