Anyone else trying to eat healthy?

I've gained nearly 10 pounds since the summer. My exercise patterns didn't really change but my snacking around meals got out of control. And of course, the more sugar I ate, the more I wanted.

I know what I have to do: Go back to tracking my food using Weight Watchers. This has worked for me in the past and I know it will work again, but I'm on Day 1 and it's SO. HARD. I really want to eat carbs. I can have almost all the fruits and vegetables I like but what I really want is a donut.

Anybody else trying to start 2016 on the right path nutritionally?

I am! Or I always am! Haha! I go on and off tracking my calories with the lose it app. Right now I am back to tracking calories because it helps me keep that mindless snacking under control. I find it really helps me to get on the scale frequently so that I can really hold myself accountable. That being said, I'm 10 lbs lighter than I was at this time last year and hopefully by summer I'll be another 10 lbs lighter. I can't wait for summer and a beach vacation!!

Me too! I keep track on and off using the My Fitness Pal App. I also got an Apple Watch for Christmas that sets some Work out/move goals for me so I've been inspired to keep up with those.

Even though I've maintained a steady weight all year, I can definitely tell that some body parts, like my thighs, are looking a little bigger and not as toned as they have been when i worked out more regularly. I'm trying to change that by getting back into a fitness routine.

I started 21 day fix in July and followed their eating guide and containers I've lost 20lbs. Over the holidays I wasn't as strict but didn't really gain I just felt bloated and sluggish. I started back last week and feel much better . I actually went from a size 14 to a 8/10

Don't diet the way I did, or was unfortunate to have happen. After the hip surgery had problems with the pain meds causing nausea and vomiting. Lost at least 8 pounds. Then the pancreatitis, lost more. All together lost about 13-14 pounds. After the pancreatitis I went on a fat (or as fat free as I could) diet and although I complained, it really was not bad. I have continued eating a more fat free diet but sure have broadened what I'm eating. For me it's more about muscle toning. Would love to get out and walk more but the temps and wind chills are horrible.

Until I hit 30, I could eat anythingI wanted and not gain weight. I got really spoiled, and never got why people would talk about dieting so much. Now I know, sigh.
