    "REV" - Honker Happy

    Aye Mates,
CHURN CREEK'S EL DIABLO NUTMEG REVOLUTION - call name "REV" continues distinguishing himself in the field as is evident in this photo sent to me by his owner after their goose hunt this afternoon.

    REV - "HONKER HAPPY"

T'is always grand to see the labors of training having come to fruition for gundog and owner after the K9 recruit has returned home from "boot camp" to hunt his / her first season. REV will continue on to more advanced level training this spring and summer. REV will also be campaigned in hunt tests starting in the spring of 2016.

    Cheers,

    Jollymolly,

REV is off to a grand start, but he is far from what I would consider close to being a "finished" retriever yet.. We will move forward toward more advanced level training and further practical experience. He is developing all of the tools / skillsets expected in a highly accomplished retriever of fine breeding.

REV - Eyes to the skies during marking drills.

I love working with these marvelous K9's.

Nice job REV! It's kind of late on a Saturday night and maybe I've had a glass of wine... But why are there geese standing all around REV??

    Georgia,
Not certain you are serious or just pulling me chain! They are decoys used to draw real birds to within range of the gunners where they are shot whilst still in flight.

A small iPhone screen and a glass of wine and it seriously looked like the geese were hanging out! It was a long week and I'm a bit punchy tonight but those decoys are very realistic! I know in our area the geese are a nuisance. Hanging out on the golf course and school playground. They often don't fly away when people approach them. The groundskeeper at the golf course in my parent's retirement community has a border collie that keeps the geese away.
