    Week one down

One week today since Cooper's knee surgery. Went in and had the bandages removed and vet said everything looked great. Now he has to wear the doughnut of shame when we are not home. Next Thursday he gets an X-ray to see how the bone is healing and get the staples removed. He want to just go, go, go, typical lab. He is leased when he goes outside but gets a little extra freedom inside the house. We watch him like two hawks and if he starts to move around too much he goes back in his pen. We have put runners down all through the house since we are all tile. Doing very good and on his way to a full recovery.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like he is healing very well. Know it's hard, but keep him on that leash, it's for his own good even if he gives you the sad eye look.

I can sympathize with you. I will be so happy when we are "1 week down" from surgery. Stella had her eyes (Entropion) surgery done yesterday. Day 1 is almost down and I will celebrate..
