    Fostering.

Faye and I recently volunteered to foster dogs for the local animal rescue. We expressed a preference for larger and adult dogs because that's what we are familiar with, and because they might benefit from a calmer and quieter home.

Here's our first foster, Charlie. He's thought to be a BC/Akita cross and is as friendly as this photos suggest. At 104 lbs, a big boy. So far he's fit in well.

Not gone, only gone on ahead - Bruno, Rex, BoJo, Kendal, Kingsley, Moonpie, Avis, Corndog, Stella, and now Achilles

    Thank you!

It's rewarding, good to be to provide a way station to a good dog on his way to his forever home. And we get to help a local, community organization.

He is a handsome fella. You guys rock, I would be a foster failure after the first week.
You know we'll need regular updates and photos of Charlie.

Charlie looks like he has a lot of personality. Gorgeous pup.

How old do you think he is?

Thanks so much for giving him a paw up on his journey to a forever home.
