    "Autumn Belle"

    Aye Mates,
    A recent rendering done in mixed media as a gift for some grand friends. I used pastels to render a "bokeh" type effect for the background and selected several hues to incorporate that I associate with fall flora in New England. Me buddy Dave spends as much time as he can with his yellow Lab "BELLE" in pursuit of grouse and woodcock in the north woods of New Hampshire and Maine, accordingly I have titled the piece "AUTUMN BELLE".
