    First Steps (Swims)!

    Of course it's going to be when I'm not there.

    I am at the airport about to head to Rome for a week teaching a study abroad course. I am dropped off at the airport, and my husband takes Hoku to the Lake for a walk. First time ever she jumps off the dock into the lake, submerges, and then swims happily to shore. It's like your baby taking first steps when you are at work. Didn't even get a photo. Sniff!
