Great Weekend for Hemi Musical Freestyle

Hemi and I competed in Canine Musical Freestyle this weekend. Which you guys knew I did that too. I was the only guy competing, but that's ok, honestly it was a lot of fun. Hemi was also the only lab there as well. Hemi did pretty fantastic too.

We only have the one routine and we did it both days. We dance to David Lee Roth's "I'm Just a Gigolo" and no there are no videos of us dancing.

Saturday day one, he got his first leg, he got second place in our class. He also won the award for Dog and Handler having the most fun, and we also go judges choice. So we started Saturday with a knock out show.

Sunday was not as good, he was tired, darn Daylight savings time change and we had to get up at 6 a.m. each day to get ready to go. We were in the practice ring before the match fine but when it was time to go on he was yawning and forgot what we were doing and not that thrilled. However we Qualified, barely by half a point, but hey we still qualified, however now the next level is going to be harder. So that earned us a Title W-FD letters can now be added to his name, along with all his other.

Sunday with his awards, He also though performance not as good won second, first place was a different dog this day, he got his title trophy and he also won a grab bag raffle. We still had a lot of fun though.


One of the things to work on is applause. He gets really excited and distracted when people applaud him.
