And now for the rest of the story

I hope everyone's enjoyed the story of Sophie pooing in the yard. I know I have.

Sophie is a super sweetheart of a dog, but she is also the biggest oddball of a Lab I've ever had, bar none, and by a wide margin at that. Around the house she can be anything from a complete couch potato, to off the hook zoomie crazed maniac. Some days she will retrieve like she's some kinda master hunter wanna be, other days she walks towards a bumper like she's going to the electric chair. I can honestly say that after 4 years and 2 months, I still don't know what makes this dog tick. She just LOVES everyone she meets, human or canine. We had to run to Lowes today, and I took her along. Everyone she meets just loves her. She will jump on the counter as we are checking out to get loved on. She wants to say hi to everyone she sees.

So back to the poo. This morning we got up and I wanted to get some stuff ready for breakfast before our walk. Normally she will sit right there hoping for some food to hit the floor. Not this morning. She goes and sits by the back door. "Sophie, you wanna go out?" tail goes "thump, thump, thump". I go open the door and out she goes. I'm peeling taters and watching her, she trooping around, inspecting the yard. Nose hits a spot. Spin. Poo. Holy CRAP!!!!!!

TWICE in 3 days. She hasn't poo'd in the yard twice in TWO YEARS!!!

All I can say is it's part of her womanly charm!

Thanks to everyone and I glad ya'll enjoyed this. It's been a bright sport in an otherwise crappy week.

They keep springing surprises on us. Maybe, just maybe, she was trying to lighten your day.

She thinks she's helping your recovery by not forcing you on long walks- ha ha! Sophie, you are too darn funny!
