    Hardy 9/12/06 - 3/20/16

Hello all.. I know I'm new to the board and just joined last week looking for help and answers to what was going on with my boy. The support and comments I received meant more than words can express..
unfortunately I had to do the right thing and put Hardy, or as my daughter called him, HardyBear.. down.. I'm still a wreck but I put this video together in tribute to Hardy giving me the best 9 1/2 years I could have ever asked for..

I hope this link works but if it doesn't then please let me know.

Thanks again and bless you all..

    Mark

Thank you so much for taking the time to share Hardy's life with us. You can really see how he was right there in the center of everything. I love the "zipper" down the center of his nose, too! Run free, Hardy!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

A beautiful tribute to your Hardy, such a handsome boy. Thank you so much for sharing him with us. My heart aches for you, I know very well the pain of losing such a cherished soul too early.

Godspeed Hardy. May the rain drops fall softly.

So very, very sorry. Such a beautiful video, a fitting tribute to a handsome boy. I, too, love the zipper on his nose. Was OK until the pictures with your daughter and lost it, bawling.

I hope the wonderful memories he gave you help you through this very difficult time.

As I said on your other thread, please stay with us, tell us more about the life and times of Hardy. For some, like me, find being able to talk to others who "get it" really helps.

    Rest In Peace Sweet HardyBear

Aww...thanks for sharing Hardy with us. I was especially touched - your Hardy and my Satchel shared the same birthday. He will live eternally in your heart. Run free, Hardy.

What a majestic dog. Or should I say magical. Thank you for sharing his life and love with you and your family.

Three pictures stand out the most to me. The one when he was younger in the bed of your truck looking at you, the one where your daughter is hugging him around the neck like she would never let go and where you are laying next to him gripping his fur let you would never would let go.

A great tribute to a worthy dog. I hope you keep it for when your daughter grows older and she can watch it and remember the wonderful life she and HardyBear shared. I have to stop now, my keyboard is blurry through the tears.

Rest gently HardyBear, you earned it, then run free with our pups across the Bridge. He will be waiting for his family when time calls them also.
