    Dry shampoo for dogs?

My dogs smell like pond water from our little nature walk yesterday where they managed to roll around in nastiness then eat what I believe was a bullfrog.

They reek, but I will not have the time to take them to the dog wash today and it's too cold for the hose.

I was thinking of rubbing some baking soda into their fur then giving them a quick brush-out. Has anyone tried this? And did it work?

I've tried a dry shampoo for skunk, not the most effective.
