Tried the big girl classes this weekend

She NQ’d both of them yesterday - lack of confidence caused her to freeze once in each class. I think little miss thinks she knows what’s what was a bit thrown off by having things out of order.

Today, she NQ’d in Utility but it was my fault - I gave a crappy recall signal and she missed it. The rest of the class was beautiful and the judge told me had it not been for the recall she would have been in the placements. Oh well, c’est la vie!

In Open, despite it being the order I was most afraid of (drop on recall first), she nailed it. Came in 2nd with a 197.5 - only .5 away from 1st. She may or may not have gotten her first OTCH point, too. There was some discrepancy around how many dogs actually showed. The check in sheet showed 13, the judge said 11, but there were only 10 on the score sheet when I looked at it. Possible there was another page of score sheets that got misplaced. If there were 11 or 13, she would have an OTCH point (and only 99 more to go, LOL) but if there were only the 10, then she wouldn’t. Not a big deal either way ... she did get 15 Obedience Master points at least.

Sorry to year. Linus is a freezer and I know how difficult it is and he is very reliant on me to give perfect signals, too! But, that's great on your Open! Fingers crossed for that OTCH point.
