    little issue

So Gauge has been showing signs of fear fullness with some people. It's been probably the last month or so. It doest matter it's both men and women and neithere was wearing a hat.

The first was a guy at work who works seasonal he growled hackles up and barked at him. I gave a correction then had the guy give him a treat first dropping it then I had him kneel to his height and gauge took the treat then was his best friend.

Today I brought him to work and a good client came over and he did the same thing. I told her just ignore him I corrected him and he went and sniffed her I praised him and told her just keep ignoring him. I Then let her offer him a treat and again she became his best friend and he was fine.

I take him everywhere with me and he's good with kids and people petting him we go on walked around the neighborhood and he's calm and let's people pet him. I'm trying to get him ready for his therapy dog test.

Can they go thru a fear period this late?

Chili at time just raises his hackles before he even sees a dog or person. I think its based on smell due to this. many times I have taken chili to the dog park and he raises his hackles entering the park/even tho no dogs or people are in the park.
