This is the kind of stuff that absolutely brings me to tears, every time. As a future law enforcement wife, this one hits home.

Poor dog. I wonder if he can be assigned to another handler?

The whole situation is heart breaking. I've read that Danny will be assigned to another officer. Prayers for the remaining family members and Danny.

So heart breaking. The bond between handler and dog is extremely strong.

And some say dogs have no feelings. My condolences to that poor pup. Hoping his next handler understands his loss and helps him continue. Watched my Jake mourn over the loss of his best buddy Henry. My heart was breaking for him as well.
