Almost outside guys!
I actually calculated that day number. The birds were probably two days old when we bought them though so they're about 45 days old now. This is their simulated outdoor environment. I bring in lots of grass and dandelions so that they can eat that and then there's dirt on the bottom of the crate so they get the microbes and things won't be a big surprise when they go outside which will be shortly now. One more cold day then out they go. One looks like a New Hampshire Red to me. Very bulky and bigger than the others which are probably some kind of Red as well. We'll know soon enough.
Almost outside guys!

aww they are getting so big and beautiful. I like the way you prepare your little chicks for the outdoors and not just throw them out to fend for themselves.
