    Congratulations to my son

    My son graduated from the University of Virginia this weekend. He double majored in Chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry and Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Neuroscience. He was in the distinguished majors program in cognitive science and worked on a research project for two years, wrote a thesis and graduated with high distinction! He is taking a gap year working as a scribe in the ER of the university hospital and will continue his work as an EMT. He will begin the medical school application process next month. I think he's a bit of an overachiever. Needless to say, we are very proud of him!
