Internal comments on Thor's vet records

I had Thor's vet email me his records so I would have them for his new vet when we move. I was skimming through the pages and had to laugh at the internal comments from the doctors and staff:

    - Very exuberant greeter
    - Prefers attention to treats
    - Doesn't notice needles
    - Friendly lab personality x 100
    - difficult to get accurate weight since tail won't stop wagging

    and my favorite:

    "So much dog"
Mighty Thor, "So Much Dog", born 1/6/2014
    And baby Barley, born 3/9/2018

That is a great report card. My inspiration for wanting Ram to get his CGN was from an internal comment on his vet records. On one of our visits the vet we were seeing said "Oh I see Dr. Brown has written down that Ram is boisterous". What? He may not be aware of his size and will never be mistaken for a ballerina, but he's not boisterous. I had planned on sending Dr. Brown a copy of his certificate but I got over it.

Yeah there is something about the vet that brings out Thor's maximum exuberance/boisterousness/brattiness. He pulls and ignores commands and even high value treats most of the time. I think it's the smells since that distracts him even more than the people.

I'm surprised that they didn't note the visit where he jumped (all four paws) on the checkout counter while I was paying the bill. One minute he was sitting nicely next to me and the next he was on the counter with his head in the treat jar.

Yesterday as we were leaving a woman came in with a 6 month old service dog in training (puppy raiser). This little guy was so well behaved and calm and totally put Thor to shame.

I need to change my signature line to "So Much Dog"

I think Sophie and Thor may be related. I think the vets office is her favorite place on earth!!

That's pretty funny! I doubt my vets put anything of the sort in their records- no subjective sweet talk, just the complaint or reason for the visit, what they found, what they did about it. I'd need a microscope to read the one vet's notes anyway. He's not one for chit chat, so I doubt his notes are very informative on that score. In addition to any titles Thor may earn, You know, CGC, GCH, JH, etc you can now add, SMD!
