So exciting! Post pictures!!
SO excited. I have wanted another puppy since Piper was six months old-it has taken forever for things to fall into place. This girl is going to be Jada's-she has anxiety issues and I have noticed when she is taking care of the cats or Piper, it seems to settle her down. The problem is, as cuddly and people oriented as our cats are, they are still cats. And Piper, while she loves everybody, is clearly my dog.
Jada (nine) was up at five, making sure her room is "puppy prepped". The plan is for puppy to sleep in her room since Piper sleeps in ours. I am hoping puppy is a fast potty trainer, Piper was really good, because until she is pretty solid at night, I will be sleeping in Jada's room with her since I am a very light sleeper and wake up at the drop of a hat.
Besides how excited Jada and I are (Mark, not so much, he is a dog person, not a puppy person) I think Piper is going to LOVE having another dog to play with. She is so embarrassing with her sitting on the hill, waiting for Joey to come...so the pathetic, needy girlfriend!
I think the older kids are coming over on Friday to meet her so I will try to nag them into posting some pictures for me!
