Emotions

I was just thinking thru some posts and doing some posting. All of the emotions we all feel for each other as human beings. What pleasure we get from our dogs and what grief, both for yourselves and for the others. The rage we feel when people are so mean and the joy people give us when they save a puppy.

I thank God for this forum and its people, it draws me like a magnet and keeps me sane and also hurts, but the people are without question -----my family, like my church- I can come here and cry with you laugh with you be full of joy with you.

Mike and Gabe- we thank the people of this forum and Woody for starting this in the first place. He is no doubt an angel without wings, but with the ability to set up a forum for us-THANK YOU WOODY!!

Yes I will talk about you to my family as if I've met you all in real life and I will pray for your health or your dog's health just like I would a friend I've met face to face.

Could not agree more! As was said, you are all family I've just not met yet.

Going through Mardi's passing recently, don't know what I'd have done without the emotional support I've received here. It's helped hold me up, supporting me with love. We all "get it" and share the same core love for dogs, in fact all living creatures even if they are a little icky; i.e., snakes and spiders.

Yep, I completely agree. This board has helped me so much to deal with what happened to Cookie last year. I can't even begin to explain how much it all meant to me.
