Old bones.

Yesterday's high temperature reached 33.1C or 91F, and the humidex was around 36 or 97. With the pleasant breeze taking the edge off the otherwise oppressive heat, I think Stella found that it felt good on her senior bones because she dozed or slept.

Stella, you look so sweet "chillin" in the warmth. Mardi would certainly approve as the loved the same thing.

She looks like she found a nice shady spot to enjoy the warmth. We had 98 F and high humidity yesterday and Gabe still wanted to go out and lay in the grass in the sun. Of course I had to lay there with him and after a few minutes I told him that's enough, let's go inside.

It is funny how they seem to like the heat that we find so oppressive! I'm glad she had a happy day, just relaxing in the shade!

My 2 would join Gabe out in the hot sun, not relax in the shade like Stella, who clearly has more sense than these pups!

Rosy, I think she did enjoy it.

Blackboy98, the deck was pleasantly shady. Sometimes Stella will lay in the sun and soak in the heat, though not on Saturday.

smartrock, she had enough not too long after I took this photo. She went into the cool house, cool being 25C (we haven't put the a/c in the window yet).
