    Good news and bad news

Good news is I am adopting an animal I have wanted for a really long time. It is a 3yr old male Greek tortoise. His name is Mr.T (lol) and he needs a new home so I am going to give him one!

Bad news is, Dodger has cold tail. I am taking him to the vet tonight to confirm it, but I am sure that's what it is as I sprayed him down with the hose the other day because it was hot and I was watering the grass and he kept getting himself wet with my water so I just made him happy and watered him down, BUT I stupidly lifted his tail and sprayed his bum cause he had a little dried poopy on there. UGH, I could just shoot myself. I water him down often in the summer as he loves to be wet, but this is the first time I spray his bum and he get's cold tail, my poor baby, I did this to him so I feel terrible.

Anyways, that is my good news/bad news for the day.

Exciting about your new family member. Never had one but did learn that it's outside enclosure should have a secure fence that goes well underground as they dig.

So sorry about Dodger. Hope he feels better quickly.

Actually, in my climate, he will have to be indoors as our weather is too inconsistent. I also have a few neighbor cats that love to hunt. I will create him a tortoise table on our back deck where he can have supervised sun bathing sessions.

I bet Mr. T will love you as his new owner!!

Don't feel too bad about the cold tail, I gave it to Hannah from giving her a bath. It happens, coated aspirin and in a few days pups will feel all better!
