Our June photo shoot. No really, our June photo shoot.

I'm tardy posting last months' photo. We took it last Sunday. Really.

Not long ago we bought a six pack of Flying Monkeys Brewerys' Genius of Suburbia beer. When opening one of the last bottles I saw nodules of sediment in the bottom of the bottle, and it tasted off. So we dumped it as well as the remaining bottle.

Faye sent a very nice email to Flying Monkeys explaining the situation and saying 'not a big deal, wanted to let you know.' The reply was quite apologetic and long story short, they couriered us two 2-4s (that's two cases to you Americans ) of their product. Now that is superlative customer service. Every bottle looked fine. We will not need to buy beer for quite some time, and we will continue buying Flying Monkeys' products.

Their Genius of Suburbia paired quite well with grilled chicken breast with rhubarb ketchup glaze, breaded cauliflower tossed with feta and our mint, our snow peas stir fried with mint, and our fresh salad greens topped with sunflower seeds and our honey mustard dressing.

    Yum.

Apparently some beers are not pasteurized and should be stored cold. Was it stored cold where you bought it? Since learning this I have noticed some stores don't seem to know this.

Gosh, Faye must spend all her time planning, cooking, even growing, lovely meals. With your help of course.

    MikeLynn, you are welcome!

Snowshoe, the beer was refrigerated when we bought it so we guess it got warm in transit to the store. Faye is passionate about gardening and cooking so it follows she's very good at both. Not only do we supply some of our own food, we have lovely ornamental plantings.

    I supply the unskilled labour.

Now that's the way a company keeps customers.

Faye, kudos to you for providing so much to such a yummy sounding meal. And, for having such a great, I bet skilled, laborer.

You two look great as ever.

    Fran, you are too kind.

Scoutpout, we thought one, perhaps two six packs. That would have been more than enough though we didn't ask for nor expect anything.

Irishwistler, we will have extra next time.
