Wrigley has been taking an advanced puppy class that is supposed to culminate with a CGC test. This and that and other classes have gotten in the way so we hadn't been in awhile. But since Wrigley is in weekly agility class I thought I would take Tickle to the remaining puppy classes since obedience is NOT her thing. We went to 2 classes and when we showed up yesterday, the instructor said "We can try the CGC if you want"....(there were only 2 dogs there due to the holiday).
Tickle is pleased to announce that she earned her Canine Good Citizen! She says that Wrigley may be smarter about obedience and go to more classes, but she got her CGC FIRST!!!!!
Now she's Hayshaker Tickled Pink at Canyon CGC!!

Congrats! That's right baby girl, who needs all those classes.
Way to go Tickle, that's a big accomplishment for a young Lab. In our classes the two Labs got extra training and restrictions on behaviour. The trainer said Labs are so much more people oriented and exuberant when meeting people that they need more impulse control than a lot of other breeds. Yay Tickle.
