    Darn Dog

Oban likes to take zoomies through a big flower bed, of course he smashes the flowers down. So I decided to make a path there for him and I spent a lot of time and effort in the heat moving flowers, and watering them in their new location. So where did the last two zoomies go? Through the same flower bed but a different path. Evidently part of the fun of that zoomie is smashing through a wall of plants.

LOL, made me laugh out loud.

Well of course it is part of the fun. Oban likes to Tip Toe through the Tulips or Zoomies through the Zinnias

All that work and Oban isn't grateful? That sounds about right! I've got one that loves the feel of plants rubbing under his belly or branches rubbing along his back, too.

Both of mine like being in tallish plants...and Sunnie enjoys rolling in the ground cover (vinca). There's definitely something to be said for feeling the plants.

they just mowed the wheat field two days ago, it was 4-1/2' high, Rocco would run in about 20' and then go parallel to me for 30-40', was hilarious to watch the wheat move, kinda like a sea serpent, o.k. maybe you had to be there.

No respect at all! Mardi was horrible about walking through the flower beds, including digging. Of course, she wasn't doing the zoomies but the same results. Of course, Archie had to follow suit. I bought short decorative (cheap) wire border and taught no stepping over the fence. That works for Archie except when there is a squirrel on the other side of the fence.

Raised beds! That's the only answer. Then, naturally, Oban will take up high jumping into his zoomie routine.

What fun would it be if the pretty flowers weren't being thrown in the air!
