No experience, but sending tons of Mojo for your baby to get better!
Hi-
Today is a difficult day. Many of you gave me some suggestions for the mama lab I've been fostering. Well, one of the pups hasn't been feeling well. He's had vague symptoms for about 2 couple of weeks, but nothing that we could pinpoint. He vomited a couple of times but was eager to eat, peeing and pooping. He whined a lot, but was still active and playful. I started to get more concerned last weekend when he started vomiting more. Took him to the shelter vet Tuesday and she did blood work which she said warranted xrays. (Alk phos was a little elevated and protein low) Xrays yesterday showed "something not right in his stomach" They aren't sure if it's an obstruction or congenital. I saw the radiology report I think it said gastric outflow obstruction... which could be foreign body or pyloric stenosis or something else.
I'm just worried sick and mad that I didn't push for him to be seen sooner.....
Please send good thoughts. He's at the vet for the day hopefully getting an ultrasound but if they can't do one he will go for exploratory surgery.
Does anyone have any experience with any of this??
Thank you

Poor baby. Sending good thoughts.
Oh, poor wee guy. Is that him in the photo? He looks a bit bewildered. There's no way you could predict simple symptoms many puppies go through would be more serious. He's lucky he has you now, hope all goes well.
