Congratulations!!! I can't see the picture, says attachment invalid . Hard to say if sleeping a lot is out of the ordinary. It could just be how she is, depends on the dog.
After losing my beautiful dog Hope to a car accident, I adopted this beautiful 20 month old girl from near Seattle. Her name was Queenie, but I am going to call her Sunny I think.
Anyway: I've only had her 5 days & I just love her. She really sleeps a lot!! Is that normal?

congrats!
hard to say what is normal. she may just be overwhelmed. or was under a lot of stress before and is just sleeping it off. you will likely see more of her personality after a few weeks. in the rescue world we talk about the rules of 3. 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months as progress steps in a new dog.

Congratulations! Welcome Queenie. She might sleep a lot because she fells comfortable for the first time in a while. Come on we need to know all about her (when, where and on). I can't seem to being the picture up either but I bet she's cute.

Welcome Home Queenie!
You may be in the "honeymoon" period right now. She needs time to settle in and adjust.
Of course, if you have any indication of a medical issue, definitely a vet visit. I always take a new furkid member to the vet a few days after they join us just for a general check up and baseline blood work to have a starting point. Then again, I'm homing seniors.

Welcome Queenie/Sunny!!! Even my dogs sleep more than usual for the first few days after staying at a kennel, probably because of the novelty of the place and the constant barking and different routine. Maybe she's just getting settled in and can finally get some uninterrupted sleep. If you're really worried, get her a good check over by your own vet if she hasn't already had one. I look forward to learning more about her.
She was a good sleeper as a younger puppy, if this is the yellow girl from Cindy. I'm sure she will be up and at it soon.
My Sunnie slept a lot. Of course, she turned out to be pregnant, so....
Unless she seems "off", I'd consider it to be relief and feeling comfortable, perhaps after a long while of not having that (depending on her background). If anything else seems amiss, to the vet...but I imagine you've already taken her for a check up, right?
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you and Sunny/Queenie. I can't wait to see pictures!
